Port of entry and transit visa help

Hi friends,

Planning to travel to India with valid visa, do we need a transit visa if travelling via Amsterdam or Paris. Delta,klm and a France airlines  lo koni itinerary vastunai..never travelled via them ..any suggestions will be helpful if anyone travelled with kids on these..

Also port of entry Atlanta or Denver untundi..anyone had any bad experiences in these airports?
