Very true bro. With Beyond Visual Capability and Jamming the MIGs they were technically superior. We needed to strengthen those areas. It was a wakeup call.

But to give credit to Indian Offense and Defense where its due, the Pakistan airforce couldn't cross the border because of the anti aircraft defense missile system, ( we lost our own chopper because of that)  while Indian Mirages successfully entered deep into Pakistani airspace and returned.

are they still superior ? 

sky force movie lo chupinchinnattu they were superior back in shastri time are they still relevant today despite their economy in shambles do they have same capabilities to out smart our air force ?
