Same thing happened with hyd airport in hyd...loads of real estate companies made money and some of the buyers are still under water... If you add inflation, almost every buyer is underwater.... Only people made money are agents and sellers. Pathetic ...

Even bank FD would have made more money. In got sucked into one such venture...

Our family land was also acquired for the airport. 3 acres was acquired, and waited almost a decade for revised compensation.

I myself experienced these grand schemes back when it all started. 1000’s of acres were acquired, hundreds of ventures which are still lying vacant, almost every rich and powerful connected to the govt’s have picked up land parcels which now house lavish farm houses. Poor farmers were forced to sell their land, money lenders acted as real estate brokers and facilitated the deals.

I see the same thing happening in Amaravati

Even after knowing these recent examples , I can see people will walk right into these obvious scams and buy ...

People have short term memory, greed and FOMO. 

As usual they use region/ caste feelings and use " visionary CBN" to sell. 

My advance condolences to anyone buying land from ventures around this area

Yes, visionary CBN who spent 1200 crores for a temporary 2 story Secretariat in 2015.

Compare that with Telangana Secretariat for much less money in 2020.
