Depending on where you live and options available, try to avoid them or limit usage. 
Important point is to make it a lifestyle change. Not just because of the terrorist act now. I have been doing this since a very long time.
I don’t buy pak or Chinese unless I have no or limited options.

Co-workers. No interaction outside work. Nice ppl as far as work goes. Do not know anything beyond them. I do not have a choice interacting for work. However I do have a choice to boycott the shops.
