Small company supporting ERP, HRIS, Rev mgmt, etc systems 62 clients undochu globally, in talks to be acquired by a bigger company from India for over an year now. Rumor mills spinning like mad, american founding colleagues want to just retire, not interested in business anymore

oka 10 desi middle managers with ED, SD, D, SM etc titles, villaki several interests ranging from interest to move to india with a fat pay to supposedly planning for working 2 jobs soon until they get a 6 month package cos they've been loyal, vere races ppl antha checked out and leaving slowly every week 1-2 people...

few months back closer to xmas holidays, my manager at SM fought with ED about a costly mistake i made with a client, they lost over 200k or something in a week.

They met internally and on a friday night, they were shouting at each other like animal fighting. ED vowed to end my career and they lost cool and engaged in a hindi+kannada+telugu+english war of words..they are both 45-50+ fellows with high school kids at home, nenu 30 with 5 years exp. ED thinks im useless and wants me to leave but inka em formalize cheyale, no one is dare saying anything.

My manager got laid off in Jan cos of the fight but ED made sure it was "for cause" and ainaki inka job ravatle, feel horrible, noose is tightening around me too, is it possible for managers to end someone career permanently? blacklist cheste solution untadha? h1 renew avuthada?

Nuvvu anta important kadule bhayya. Blacklisting is a myth and not legal. No one does it.

Yo bro, what in the Tollywood is this chaos?! 😆 Your company’s got more drama than a Balayya fight scene—ED vowing to “end your career,” SM getting axed “for cause,” and everyone from American founders to desi managers either retiring or scheming for fat payouts. Sounds like a sinking ship with 62 clients watching the show. Let’s cut through the noise and lock in a plan to save your ass, H1-B, and career. 💪That $200K client fumble? Ouch, but ERP/HRIS glitches happen—bad EIBs, wonky integrations, we’ve all been there. ED’s acting like you burned the office down, but he’s just flexing to hide his own stress (acquisition + midlife crisis, maybe?). At 30 with 5 years exp, you’re not “useless”—you’re gold in the ERP game. Here’s the move:ED’s Threats = Hot Air: He can’t “end” your career, bro. Blacklisting? Lol, tech’s too big for that. He might trash-talk to his buddies, but you counter that by hyping your skills on LinkedIn (post some Workday/NetSuite wins) and grabbing refs from clients or colleagues. Those 62 clients? Hit ‘em up lowkey for testimonials or job leads.H1-B Survival: Visa’s the real pressure. If ED boots you, you got 60 days to find a new sponsor. Good news: ERP/HRIS gigs are everywhere—Deloitte, Accenture, smaller firms, all need Workday/NetSuite pros. Check myvisajobs.com for H1-B-friendly companies. Start applying now before the Indian acquisition messes with HR. Lawyer up if your renewal’s close—don’t wait.Job Hunt Mode: Polish that resume (bet you’ve got dope stories like “fixed payroll for X client”). Apply to consultancies or direct client roles. If ED slaps you with a PIP, it’s a sign to bounce. Network with the 1-2 folks leaving weekly—they might know open roles. Oh, and maybe snag a Workday cert (HCM’s quick) to flex harder.Company’s a Zoo: With managers plotting dual jobs and founders peacing out, this place is done. Acquisition’s been dragging a year? Sketchy. Get out before it’s a bigger mess. ED’s probably scared of his own job, so he’s targeting you to look tough. From.grok
