jamesbond Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Last Friday saw the release of two films and since both were different genres, the response was expected to be good. We are talking about ‘Kaththi’ and ‘Yemaindhi Ee Vela’ and even the overseas audience especially in the US were keen on seeing how these two flicks were. However, it appears that the response to both have been quite dismal. Reports are arriving of record collections in USA, albeit in the negative way. The sources reveal that while ‘Yemaindhi Ee Vela’ got to have only 7 members in New Jersey, ‘Kathi’ ended up with just 30 viewers on the first day. On the contrast, ‘Endiran (Tamil Robo)’ reported a whopping 500 people on the same day despite an old release. Now, New Jersey is known as mini Andhra Pradesh and it is considered to be the US Naizam area but with the response of audience on Friday, it has become clear that a lot of improvement is required to meet their expectations.
