US interfered in many Indian affairs in the past and this is the reason why Indians and Indian defense is not really in favor of military alliance's with US. Trade is a priority but defense is still nascent…

Indian military doctrine itself won’t allow us to cross the border. Not because we can’t but we don’t want…most people don’t realize but the fact is that Indian forces doctrine is not to cross the border and protect the border and under any case are not supposed to cross the border unless its war…even in the future, PoK thappa evadu ae geetha daatadu..
