The Global FDI shift after PVNR reforms in 1991 helped them amass the wealth. Neither did the regions they come from helped their accession to such riches. Its all Hyderabad, which is nothing but a legacy of Nizam and the British collaboration. . The regions they come from still remain the same like before. Quote
vincent Posted May 6 Author Report Posted May 6 Telangana outside Hyderabad and Rayalaseema are better developed than Coastal Andhra . Telangana of course has Hyderabad to support its growth . Rayalaseema is industrialising and is not a backward region like in the past . Godavari districts and Uttarandhra with dependence on agriculture ( except Vizag ) should get investments too . Quote

Mahbubnagar has developed so much that even no coastal district can even come close except Vizag . Tens of pharma companies in Jadcherla , Microsoft and Amazon data centres , Amara Raja lithium ion battery plant , Kanha shanti vanam , there is visible development . Agriculture alone is not the path to development everywhere . The combined district has 6 medical colleges , equal to whole of Godavari . In fact , Godavari districts are unable to get industrial development due to agrarian costly lands . Godavari , Uttarandhra , Palnadu are the new backward regions unlike before bifurcation . Quote
