India To Hold Major Air Exercises Along International Border Amid Rising Tensions With Pakistan

India will be conducting major air exercises along the International Border with Pakistan, sources said. A ‘notice to airmen’ has been issued for May 7 and 8, close to the western border, and mainly in Rajasthan that is under the South Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force.The air exercise will be carried out close to the western border, mainly in Rajasthan which is under the South Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force. The International Border (IB) stretches about 2,400 km from Gujarat to Akhnoor in Jammu. According to the ‘notice to airmen’ (NOTAM) issued, the drills will begin at 9.30 pm on Wednesday (May 7) and end 5.5 hours later. During this period, flights departing or landing in the area will be suspended.
