I slightly disagree about NOT being able to survive in India part. Americans in my observation are far more practical and confident people. 

Should Kid have that sort of upbringing their confidence levels and practical skills will be far too good which will allow them to not just survive but thrive in India as adults. They will just need to understand the local cultural and political nuances.

But problem is Parents think it's tough for their kids and Kids gets overwhelmed because of Cultural and geographical constraints, think they are loosing their creature comforts.

That's a good reduction in immigration numbers, Tatah can show it as win then. It will also discourage the "birth tourism" and illegal immigration.
