Presently it has 9 verticals including material management and new product incubation happening at IIT-Hyd and instead of IIT, you can call it as DRDO-Ext. It is being supervised by former DRDO scientists. One of my cousin, graduated from IIt-Hyd and now works at MIDHANI… Almost all the IIT’s are now drdo’s extension facilities including IIT-M. Coming to Drones, CBN literally has nothing to do with. Yes, for a drone show but beyond that it’s Zero. BEL and few private players in Bangalore have advanced drones in the making already.. Halwa bro .. we are talking about the future of the masses who are currently facing so much unemployment across India. Almost 50% of BTech grads are into cab driving or OYO kind of jobs.. While this defense lab thing is somewhat assuring, given the fact that India is already a very big IT services provider, most of the things they Invent will be made obsolete by the Western Universities within no time. The West can continuously pump money into University-Industry eco-system but India cannot do much about it. The 50,000 Cr spend announced by India is just a drop in ocean if you compare with West's investments. Quote

The best ranked Indian Uni in Global list is at 250th Global rank.. Yes, I see some improvement in drones, mainly due to CBNs Vision I believe..(I am serious on this) I don' think so. Within India techukune vallu kooda chala mandhi unnaru. It all depends on your abilities and research publications, and some amount of connections. Quote

My point was observation was not about the unemployment situation in India but how things are changing. IIT’s which acted as premier export agency, are now turning into incubators and research facilities. 1 Quote
