I don’t think there is any change in the Indian foreign policy after Modi came to power.. there is just more visibility with Sushma swaraj and jaishankar.. they are giving more interviews now and are more in the media.. so ppl are discussing and earlier it was all behind the scenes 

we always tried to follow the middle path where we don’t align either with Russia or US.. even during Cold War, we didn’t align with anyone… we have military relations more with Russia and more business relations with India.. read about non aligned movement.. 

the issues we have now are nothing big compared to the issues we have historically faced.. we are well stocked with weapons, in the process of modernizing our military, we don’t have to scramble to secure weapons during the time of war, like we did during kargil..
