Huh? Hinduism is actually one religion that celebrates Valor. All the dieties, even female one  barring  few Brahma, Saraswati, laxmi generally bear arms.  The back stories of most of the festivals have good winning over evil after battles. 

It happened in few ways

3. The school indoctrination system, which punishes you for deviating in the name of discipline and then the non confrontational average male Hindu working 9-5 to provide his family.
