rational Posted May 27 Report Posted May 27 Yuga measured as time the units will be secs, hrs, days, months, years. yojana is measured as distance the units will be cms, mts,mm,feet, mile etc 12000 years X 1000 X 8 miles = 96,000,000 miles.years Distance X time is not equal to Distance. Thats why units existed. Also One problem with hanuman trying to eat sun after becoming Bigger than sun The gravitational force of hanuman will be bigger than the earth and the sun, the earth and sun would have collapsed into him and also the entire solar system. Light years are not a measure of time but distance Quote

Just because the "years" match in both of them they are not the same. This is basic maths. Quote
11_MohanReddy Posted May 27 Report Posted May 27 "Yug Sahastra Yojan" would translate to 12,000 years * 1,000 * 8 miles = 96,000,000 miles or 153,600,000 kilometers. This calculation is roughly equivalent to the actual distance between the Earth and the sun, leading to claims that the Hanuman Chalisa accurately predicted this distance centuries ago. Quote

Time × Distance does not have a standard physical meaning in most contexts of physics or mathematics. It gives a quantity with units like: seconds × meters = meter-seconds (m·s) This unit doesn’t represent a common physical concept like speed, acceleration, or force. However, here’s a breakdown of related concepts: Speed or Velocity = Distance / Time Distance = Speed × Time Acceleration = Change in Velocity / Time So unless you’re working in a specialized context (like in certain areas of physics or engineering), time × distance is not typically used. Then how come the guy in the video says its equal to distance? Quote

In Hanuman Chalisa, "Yuga Sahasra Yojana" refers to a unit of distance used to describe the distance between Hanuman and the Sun, based on the concept of yugas, sahasras, and yojans. Quote
