The construction keeps on going, more consumers will be brought into the country and they sign up for mortgages. Then the government comes in and takes away more in terms of ever increasing property taxes. The equity you think you will build will be taken away if not already, by deprecating asset value with time, upkeep and your brokerage commission and property taxes. Interest rates will make it look like a rotting ham sandwich. The housing markets in NA & to an extent in India are being prepped for a blood bath, and mortgage holding lambs will be sent out to slaughter house. It's just matter of time. Quote
