Without humans, all life would stop existing as only humans have the capability to expand consciousness.

And humans can become carbon neutral or even reverse.

Why is it anyone's responsibility to prevent humankind from being extinct? If theory of evolution has taught us anything, it is that humans will be extinct in the near future. Even if you end up implanting your seed in every woman, everything that you do is a struggle in vain.

They are dependant on younger caretakers who are others' kids. So, having kids is still a societal need.

Also having young generation is good for the nation. Look at US for example, due to average ge being more, many will vote for whoever extends senior benefits. They won't care if the country goes bankrupt. Innovation would stall without young immigrants.

This might trigger some people but hear me out.

Being childless is like a pandemic. They don't know what to do with their time and spend more time in office spoiling the work culture. This leads to even more people not bearing kids due to stress.

I have noticed this at many companies. People with kids are usually better managers on an average. Satya Nadella became a better leader after caring for his son.

Nothing against people who couldn't bear children....but one of the main reasons why that happened is most probably due to childless people again.

We live in a society and choice we make impacts others.

I would disagree with you, i saw different behaviour

most childless guys & ladies don't have a lot of ambition. they run out of things to buy and do.

so more & more they become individual contributors living in their shell.

they are not interested in climbing corporate ladder, i observed this with 2 folks i know very well.

one is my cousin and another is my classmate. They don't give a about growth, they are just happy to do the bare minimum to keep salary coming.

Societal responsibility.

People who want to live a free life can live outside of society. Many do so and are very happy.

Its counterproductive to go against society and still continue to consume its resources. They should atleast adopt.

Many people with kids also don't have societal responsibility. For example, they still drive around in expensive gas guzzling cars eventhough millions are dieing every year due to pollution but that's a separate topic.

Lol. You have weird definition of society. Society contains all sorts of individuals. Instead of asking all of them to go and live somewhere, you should go live in the caves.

You don't know what it means by societal responsibility. Societal responsibility will not voilate an invidual right to live. Societal responsibility means.. to co-exist with others without causing a problem to others. Live and let live. Simple.

Your writing about consumption is also oxymoronic. Childless people just live their lives and die without creating a chain of generations ..which consume the resources further..

Even those that have no interest in climbing corporate ladder overwork out of boredom in the companies I worked.

They are also easily manipulated as well by their managers.

There will be those who do bare minimum as well. Just like Muslims....majority are peaceful. But those who harm are statistically much higher in that community.

No matter with kids / Without kids / Or at late age - If someone overworking in office they definitely would have a hidden agenda. Climbing the ladder, Insecure of not getting job outside OR may be lacking peace of mind at Home.

I don't have any kids or wife....10 ki login ayyi 4 ki logoff aypotha....3 tarvatha evadaina meeting or call schedule cheste aadni pacchi boothulu tidatha....

I hate spending time in the office...also spending more time in the office doesn't necessarily mean more productivity...you should strive to work for a company where the management recognizes the difference between quality and quantity...

If you are not working for such a company, then start job searching instead of propagating these kind of communist ideas.

I have switched companies multiple times and finally in a good place.

In one of my previous companies, the first couple years were awesome...but then these people joined and the entire culture went downhill pretty quickly.

So..basically you are not responsive to change and you started blaming the others.

"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change"

You have encountered an issue with few individuals. And you are stereotyping whole society now. Good job Anna. Everybody is unique. Having kids kills your momentum in life. It’s due to responsibilities. Some people are more freespirited and they choose to never marry. To each their own anna. Let it go.

Agree.Maybe I should.

Once robots and age of abundance are in place, this issue would go away on its own.

Glad to know you are in a good place now...

As for your previous company...I wouldn't blame the guys who joined..I'd rather blame the management. They took advantage of the fact that the new guys can work more for less.

Everyone in the world will try to survive with whatever skills/advantages they have...I've been on teams where the managers hired paapalu just for colouring and we are forced to pickup their slack...ppl leaves such teams because the manager is a chutiya, don't blame paapalu for trying to survive with what they have.
