Either H1Bs stay or jobs stay in the US. New gen Asian kids behave like Americans, will have high expectations on salaries with 9 to 5 work

First of all.....looking at Breitbart article and abusing Elon Musk who is a gift to mankind however imperfect he is....is pure nonsense.

Whatever frustration you have...direct it towards something good.

Secondly, India is a much better place to live now. Even citizens have been moving back. I am moving back as well.

When I came to US in 2000s, there was a huuuuge difference between India and US. Not anymore.

People I know had difficulty finding jobs....but are happily settled after going back. They are much happier as well. In US you can't settle down even in your 50s.

What do you smoke anna? You seem to flip flop on every subject. If my memory serves right, you complained about Indian food and pollution many times. You strongly hated Indian mindset about service jobs. Please tell me that’s not you. 
 

Hyderabad is not India. It is part of India. But it doesn’t represent India in entirety. In my opinion India has progressed a lot in last two decades. But our trajectory is still not positive enough. 
 

- Most polluted cities in the world are in India 

- We have reservation system. It disenfranchises lot of people. It is a main reason for brain drain

- Our society still perpetuates comparison amongst  neighbours and releatives 

- We have politicians who still promotes freebies as a way to attain power. There is absolute disregard for investments in infra and technology. They have no vision for the future generations. Despite of the fact that we are the most populous country in the world. 

- Our schools lack basic infra such as playgrounds. 
- Innovation is almost nonexistent. It barely started to take off recently. Private investors need some level of govt support to prosper in innovation. Unfortunately, that is lacking because people don’t pay enough taxes to govt. 
 

I don’t hate India. Just want to make that loud and clear before people jump at me with an abusing tone. ISRO created wonders only because there are no reservations in that org.  We need to stop brain drain before anything else. Unfortunately in our political landscape, that is impossible. That’s beyond discouraging to me.

Pollution is a major issue. China went through the same and now their cities are clean. 5 years down the line we would see similar things in India due to EV revolution. 

Regarding things like schools not having playground....wouldn't affect a US return.

Think objectivity and the answer is pretty clear.

First of all, pollution is not just confined to air. Secondly, automobile pollution is only 25% contributor there. Industries release pollutants incessantly due to laxed regulations. Do some research if you care. My 2 cents.

I've also seen on Reddit that USCIS is now sniffing around people with H1B visas on LinkedIn. I guess they are trying to see any employment irregularities. Not surprising since they are trying to meet the quota of 3000 deportations per day. I think after F1, it is the turn of H1B visas to feel the heat.

I have seen a lot of people who move to India, unable to adjust and come back to US. I hope you have a better experience whenever you decide to move back. A lot of it has to do with expectations and people.

My answer will again be the same.

When I invest in stocks, I think about how the business will be in next 5 years. Same thinking here.....things will have to get better from here and it has already started.

I have seen the same. But the percentage has been reducing over the years. The opposite story is more prevalent now.

Another major factor is the amount of passive income. People with better financial situation are faring much better.
