Jagan is the single most popular leader in Andhra during current time.  Even Modi Shah know this. Andhuke kadha, daggara pettukundhi. Even hardcore pulkeya tammulu know this, despite being in Kootami, Baboru can't touch Jagan directly.

Election Commission rejects Rahul Gandhi’s 'match-fixing' charge in Maharashtra: ‘Completely absurd’

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday alleged that the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections were a "blueprint for rigging democracy" and this "match-fixing" would next happen in Bihar and "anywhere the BJP is losing"

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claims of large-scale rigging in the 2024 Maharashtra polls were once again rejected by the Election Commission (EC) on Saturday.

The poll body issued a detailed rebuttal after the Leader of the Opposition’s claims, asserting that facts are completely being ignored.

What Rahul Gandhi said?

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday alleged that the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections were a "blueprint for rigging democracy" and this "match-fixing" would next happen in Bihar and "anywhere the BJP is losing".

Underscoring that match-fixed elections are a "poison" for any democracy, he said that the side that cheats may win the game, but it damages institutions and destroys public faith.

In a post on X, Gandhi outlined the alleged electoral irregularities in a stepwise manner — fake voters are added, voter turnout is inflated, bogus voting is facilitated, and evidence is subsequently hidden.

"How to steal an election? Maharashtra assembly elections in 2024 were a blueprint for rigging democracy," Gandhi said while sharing an an op-ed published in The Indian Express.

"My article shows how this happened, step by step: Step 1: Rig the panel for appointing the Election Commission. Step 2: Add fake voters to the roll. Step 3: Inflate voter turnout. Step 4: Target the bogus voting exactly where BJP needs to win. Step 5: Hide the evidence.”

"It's not hard to see why the BJP was so desperate in Maharashtra. But rigging is like match-fixing - the side that cheats might win the game, but damages institutions and destroys public faith in the result. All concerned Indians must see the evidence. Judge for themselves. Demand answers," Gandhi said.

"Because the match-fixing of Maharashtra will come to Bihar next, and then anywhere the BJP is losing," the former Congress president claimed in his post.

ECI’s response

In response to Gandhi’s post, the Election Commission hit back stating that “facts are completely being ignored."

“Unsubstantiated allegations raised against the Electoral Rolls of Maharashtra are an affront to the rule of law. The Election Commission had brought out all these facts in its reply to the INC on 24th December 2024 itself, which is available on ECI’s website. It appears that all these facts are being completely ignored while raising such issues again and again," the ECI said.

“Any misinformation being spread, by anyone, is not only a sign of disrespect towards Law, but also brings disrepute to the thousands of representatives appointed by their own political party and demotivates lakhs of election staff who work untiringly and transparently during elections. After any unfavourable verdict by the voters, trying to defame the Election Commission by saying that it is compromised, is completely absurd,” it added.

Why will they agree?  MP Ravindra Waikar's brother in law was caught accessing EVM with phone. Vaadini thanni police laki appajepthe vallu FIR kooda kattaru. Election taruvatah antha gupchup.

Unless there is a 100% VVPAT match against the EVM tally of suspicious results, very little can be done. Supreme Court is not allowing it.

After Rahul Gandhi, now Tejashwi makes sharp attack on ECI; says 'We were winning but...'

Tejashwi's sharp barb comes one day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in an op-ed in The Indian Express, alleged that unfair means were used during the counting of election results for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections of 2024.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI) over the Bihar Assembly Elections of 2020. He has said that while RJD leaders were winning in Bihar, they were suddenly shown as defeated by small margins at night.

"For the first time, ECI had conducted press conferences thrice to issue clarifications. We were winning but the counting was suddenly stopped in the evening and then the counting resumed late at night. The counting began at 12 in the night and several GA candidates, who were leading the counting till the evening were declared defeated by a margin ranging from 12 to 500 votes in night," he said.

He further asked, "How come the BJP IT Cell knows when the elections will be held, much before the Election Commission announces its schedule?" "If constitutional institutions are destroyed, then where will people get justice? No officer should be influenced by any particular party," Tejashwi added.

Tejashwi's sharp barb comes one day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in an op-ed in The Indian Express, alleged that unfair means were used during the counting of election results for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections of 2024.

Officials from the Election Commission dismissed the allegations made by Gandhi. "Instead of writing to the EC directly, it is very strange that Rahul Gandhi keeps approaching the media seeking answers to his doubts again and again...After losing the match, blaming the referee has become the standard practice," an official reportedly said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also hit back at Gandhi for his allegations and said that the latter did not know how to accept failure. He also said that since Gandhi could not convince the public, he is now choosing the path to confuse them and questioning democracy and the way the Maharashtra Assembly Elections were held.

Polls via ballot papers will bring BSP’s good days back, says Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati on Thursday reiterated her demand for doing away with electronic voting machines (EVMs) and bringing back ballot papers for elections.

“The ballot papers will pave the way for achhe din (good days) for the BSP,” she said at a press conference in Lucknow.

The four-time former Uttar Pradesh chief minister alleged EVMs were tampered to prevent the BSP from winning elections.

In the present political situation, a decision should be taken to conduct all elections through ballot papers, she said.

The majority of the opposition parties are demanding ballot papers, but it’s not possible with the present government in power, she said.

No point. Power control is in Modi Shah hands with supreme Court as well. Congress and BJP are two sides of the same coin now. The agenda is set in motion by Z10n1st elites sitting in DAVOS, through WEF, WORLD BANK, IMF with C1A and Church as implementation partners.
