Your PCP recommends based on your blood work results. Go with that instead of DB doctors

I dont know about others kani, Vitamin D should be based on the deficiency bro. As per mine I need to take 2000UI every other day.

Please be careful with Vitamin D bhayya. It has a few side effects like calcification.

I take this Vitamin D.  One chewable per week or 2 halves in a week. 

I don't recommend fish oil , multivitamins. 

It's better to eat good food. I however do take Magnesium citrate, it helps me with heavy deadlift (not pro but im at 150 kg+ raw) recovery and super smooth sleep.

No.  Natural condition lo body exposed to sunlight will produce at least about 10,000 IU of Vitamin D.  Healthy levels of Vitamin D is needed for good testosterone levels, bone health and Thyroid levels. 

Unfortunately, Northern and NE states of US and pretty much all of  Canada are sun starved. Even summers are being ruined by weather modification programs by governments, but that's a different story. 

There is no harm in ingesting more Vitamin D I'd say up to 50,000 IU per week is good as you'd roughly loose about 50% through oral route leaving only 50% being absorbed. That's 25,000 IU. Let's say you live in India and get 15-30 minutes of nice sun exposure everyday your Vitamin D would shoot up to 50,000 IU in a week easily naturally. 

I don't know if you observed it, your Erections will get rock harder and frequent morning woods in India usually. Sexual desire is also higher in India. One part do that is SUN LIGHT.

if you get enough sun light you might not need them, but thats highly unlikely even in India at this age. So check with your doctor and then decide.

Kaka, neku nenu cheppindi artham kaledu anukunta, read again. How much is needed ani cheppaledu. The deficiency is dependent on each person and their condition. Doctor tho check chepinchukuni vadamani cheppa. Generic ga andariki okate number assume chesukovaddu ani chepthunna.

Naku ardham ayyindhi. Deficiency is universally described in medical community as below 20ng/mL. Deficiency undadaniki optimal levels ki chala teda undhi. Not being deficient doesn't mean having optimal levels. Andhuke neeku natural sunlight tho comparison cheppa. I was talking about reaching and maintain optimal levels.
