Can you guys suggest nearest desi style gold shop who can convert 100-200 24k gold bar to wrist band laaga cheyyaali..

so that another relative can bring it from USA to UK??

There is no import duty on gold bars at UK immigration controls...so volume does not matter.

All desi jewelry stores will do it. But how can you be certain if your gold is still 24k after molding it into a bangle?

It won’t be 24kt after molding into a bangle, they add copper which you get 22k ultimately.

Every jewelry shop does that. But trust is the key here. Pretty much everyone take advantage of the situation. We did this some 5 yrs back. Go with your regularly visited jewelers
