Never heard of them. Boeing seems to have issues lately. They gotta fix them. Not sure why they are not fixing them. Otherwise both have been pretty reliable. 
Smaller manufacturers don’t have much experience. Would you fly in one of those? I would not until 2-3 yrs of their usage globally.

I already flew in embraer multiple times, maybe you did too without your knowledge...many airlines in US such as Delta and jetblue are already using them...

2-3 yrs?? Embraer e- series has been in operation for almost 20 yrs...

Ahhh..  did not know about them. Thanks. So they make bigger ✈️? Why are other airlines not buying them. Why is still so much demand for BA?

They can't fly long haul...domestic operations, intercontinental varku okay...across the ocean ante kashtam...within north america and within europe, lot's of airlines use them...

For ex, Air India uses a lot of Airbus a320 for domestic and short distance (middle east, singapore range) flights...this is a quality alternative in that segment...

They are not american or european, they are a brazilian company...the world still believes in american and european superiority when it comes to technology...and that reflects in the sales...but slowly boeing is puncturing that belief

Also china started making passenger airliners now...only matter of them before they start chipping away some market share...India also trying to make some passenger planes

Ilyushin safety record bane undhi.  Their jets also have 4 engines. But Indian Airlines ippati varaku konaledhu. Long back there was time when Ilyushin made bid for AI. Not sure why they haven't bought it at all.

It’s not easy to build a company like that. Imagine the cash flow that’s needed. Establishing supply chain and signing exclusive deals

I don’t know about them. Passenger planes and fighter planes completely different. Why haven’t they ventured into this segment already?
