kevinUsa Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 Wanted to share that my EB2-NIW petition was approved in 14 calendar days with premium processing, and I didn't even get an RFE. Timeline: Filed with premium processing: June 2, 2025 Case status "actively reviewed": June 3, 2025 Approval email received: June 13, 2025 Website case status updated: June 16, 2025 Service center: Texas Service Center Background: MS in Computer Science, worked on Al projects, multiple patents, used an immigration service to help with the petition I was stuck in the backlog for years but finally figured out how to align my case with current USCIS guidance. I submitted 2 independent recommendation letters and 1 from my supervisor, making sure everything addressed the Dhanasar criteria clearly. 1 Quote

kevinUsa Posted June 16 Author Report Posted June 16 Still surprised it went through so smoothly... I've been working on this application for months and was prepared for at least one RFE. Happy to answer questions about the documentation strategy if anyone needs help. Quote

I think this person might be from non india/china country. They dont have to ask employer for doing GC. For indians the advantage with EB2-NIW is that it gets unlimited H1b renewals and no company is needed to file I-485 when date becomes current far far in future. 1 Quote
