No drinking water in Islamabad

Khanpur dam does not get water from indus river, its water source is haro river which gets its water from rainfalls. This year with severe drought it dried up. Soan river is the  water source for simly dam. And islamabad main water source is Khanpur and simly dams  These rivers eventually merge with indus river but these dams dont get any water from indus river.

Thanks for this information. The tweet by osintTV is very misleading. If younread the tweet it looks as if the drought was a result of less water flowing into Indus
