Rayalaseema was also part of nizam and then nizam ceded bellary to the british as a means of compromise. That is why it is called as ceded region. you hear that term more in movie collections talk. 1 Quote
Teluguredu Posted June 19 Report Posted June 19 According to cynthia tablot, western part of Telangana and western part of rayalaseema was a kannada dominated region with maharashtrian prakrit and gondi in border areas till 1000 CE ,telugu people from coastal Andhra settled there because of developing techniques for dry land farming .hence you will see many kannada inscriptions in Telangana and rayalaseema regions . https://books.google.ca/books?id=HSfoCwAAQBAJ&pg=PA34&dq=telugu+expansion+%2B+cynthia+talbot&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&source=gb_mobile_search&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj4s4v6_IT_AhUdkokEHWObDfgQuwV6BAgEEAc#v=onepage&q=telugu expansion %2B cynthia talbot&f=false Quote
