2008 & 2025 are pretty much similarities in my case ! 
 

Graduated and waited 8 months for  the 1st vendor/client call & I was the only guy atleast got a call in our batch ! 
 

2025 - facing the same $hit !

2025 lo kashtam gaane undi new students ki. Employers are checking everything based on Passport Number and Date of Birth (by asking passport copy).

Depends on your job profile and visa status. A couple ppl I know got jobs in 2 months after laid off. Both citizens.

Age may be a factor in layoffs.  Reason could be high overall compensation & Mid management and non significant roles. 

Strong skills no issues though.

Visa status emundhi. H1b e. Before gfc, 2 weeks max placement irrespective of tech what I saw anna.

Market is decent for citizens and GC. Slow for H1Bs. 
However cutting edge technologies, market is good irrespective of visa status.
