I did something similar last year—my grandparents gifted me some money from India, and I documented it as a gift with a simple gift deed. No tax issues since it’s from direct blood relatives. I also brought them a digital picture frame as a thank-you, preloaded with family photos, and they loved it. Made them super happy seeing our pics flip through every day.
