Tyrannosauraus_Rex Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 I am still reeling from the aftereffects of watching F1 in IMAX. The haunting score by Hanz Zimmer coupled with stunning visuals captured specifically by IMAX cameras - make this movie a must watch in the biggest IMAX near you. Like most Indians I am a movie buff. And I have been fan of IMAX as a screen format for a long time (this screen gave me memorable movie viewing experiences like DUNE, INTERSTELLAR, FURIOSA to name a few). This is one of the very few movies that is picture perfect for an IMAX viewing. Story itself is not earth shatteringly new - but the movie - is the reason why we all love to go to the movies - to experience the best sound, visuals on a gigantic screen. Trust me go to an Imax - select the middle seat - not too to the front - not too far at the back - and this is the closest you will ever get to experiencing an F1 atmosphere. Especially the racing scenes were stunning - you literally feel like you are in the car seat - and that thumping score is something to experience. Highly recommend. 1 Quote

IMAX being a proprietary screen perhaps does not allow for anything other than regular seats. I could be wrong though. The IMAX near my home had standard/regular seats - there's no other seat available. 1 Quote

But in terms of scale - this has to be better - given the A list star cast and of course as I mentioned - this movie is a visual and aural experience to be seen and heard in a premier format screen like IMAX. no01 Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 not sure if XD screens can give similar experience because this movie was specially formatted for IMAX which fills up entire screen....so experience was terrific. story wise edo twists/turns/surprise elements lantivi emi undavu....plain and simple drama. Kids ki Disney Car's(1st part) elago, adults ki ee movie anuko. Director is the same guy who made Top Gun Maverick and ofcourse Hanz Zimmer nailed it with BGM. ee song movie lo back ground lo play avthu untadi and apt for racing scenes. 1 Quote
Tyrannosauraus_Rex Posted June 29 Author Report Posted June 29 If you have BOSE or some other equally quality earbuds - listen to the following F1 soundtrack from Hanz Zimmer to relive the excitement and a shot of adrenaline - while doing really anything - chores etc., time will fly.... 2 Quote
