Today, to our shocker we saw status changed to denied (denied your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status). While we are waiting for official letter, and going to check with attorney once letter come. Waiting till letter next week feel like a long wait so getting anxious. Has anyone face/ know someone who have gone through this and what could be the reason? We're waiting for GC for 15 yrs so it feels very sad right now FYI, It denied for myself and my wife. We fitst applied for I-485 in 2022 but date gorlt retrogress and after date became current we got RFE for a new medical and birth certificate. We completed the medical, took TB vaccine and chest X-ray (which came normal). And Birth cert we took affidavit. 1 Quote

Konebhar6 Posted July 2 Report Posted July 2 I know someone who is on H1B who got fired from his job, could not get a job in 2 months, and had to leave the country with 2 adult kids. Had to put his house on sale. Scary times .. 1 2 Quote

A lot of uncertainty in the short term and not enough time for him to settle things here. I don't know how he will sell his home now. Does GPA work? He has to rely on others. If asked to be in person, how can he come here? Quote
