the world has been so much under influence of china that whatever it does with having 2.4 trillion as reserves,

china made a move to invest in dollars, so dollar index perigindi...to 78.. so dollar became strong... which mean the difference between dollar and rupee is more

gold decreased due to the shift in investments from china

simple equation.. investor either flock to commodities like gold and oil or dollar currency

so when the dollar index increase.. dollar becomes stronger and you get more Rs

it works the other way as well  .. when investors invest in india.. they need Rs.. so they trade their dollar and buy Rs... so demand for Rs increase.. rupee becomes bit stronger and we get less rupees..
