andhra_jp Posted July 9 Report Posted July 9 Free bus ride for women likely to be within a district The free bus ride for women, an election promise of the TDP, is likely to be applicable within the district, in which a woman is residing. The scheme will be launched from August 15. Addressing a gathering of water users’ association at Sundipenta in Srisailam, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said his government is fulfilling all the Super Six promises it had made before the elections. Listing them out, Mr. Naidu said the government will release the Annadata Sukhibava funds this month itself. “Women can travel free in the district in RTC buses from August 15,” he added. The State government is yet to finalise guidelines for the implementation of the scheme and Mr. Naidu’s remarks threw hints that the free ride for women would be confined to the district in which they are residing. I am not in favor of schemes but ottu vesi oka maata veyyakanda oka maata cheppanu anee cinema dialogues politicans apali... In Telangana and Karnataka its free in entire state... Quote
