Judge will decide whether someone is guilty or not...the prosecution has to prove that she stole stuff and prove it beyond a reasonable doubt...not an easy task for them and they'll probably drop the charges or not charge at all after taking her to the station....this is all possible if she keeps her mouth shut...but by blabbering, she's incriminating herself and making it easy for the prosecutors.. Anytime you deal with the police, it is advised to shut the f**k up as anything you say will be used against you..they are not your friends. Quote
