Same insurance scam, I got calls from a friend. I told not interested. He insisted and got his superior in call. Asked many questions and gave them left and right and told they are being part of the scam. Told my other common friends about it. No one takes his calls now. He realized and stopped it seems. I still don’t take his call.

It’s useless to blame scamsters. Greed gets them these new clients. 
Last time in India 2022-2023, got to know about a scam where my relative invested 35cr into a sham business. That scamster raised 2000cr it seems. Some ppl invested 200 cr it seems. Business is to buy expired products at 5paise per rupee. Re-product them with new expiry date and sell. 
That guy ran away with 2000 cr. 

I don’t understand greed here. If he keeps that in bank, at 8% interest it’s 2.8 cr per year in interest and 23 lakhs per month. Even if take out tax it’s easily 15 lakhs per month. Isn’t it enough?
