There is nothing wrong in talking about any religion someone believes in, as long as it is not anti-constitutional. There is a GOD in all the religions and every believer talks about them as they see fit. As far as the "logical and scientific" argument goes, it is just the way you see it. I may not see it that way. Who are you to decide whether anything is illogical and scientific. Ofcourse, we can follow whatever scripture of whatever religion we want. I lost you there. All the scriptures, holybooks teach good things for the major part, you can take whatever you want from them or ignore them if you don't like them at all. When in it comes students their minds are volatile , I dont want any religious guy (hinduism,islam,christianity,buddhism etc) being made as an adivsor for ethics or motivation for students because he brings the stupid baggage of religion. if you have seen his videos of speeches in private educational institutes bringing, religion, ramayana, bhagavatgita etc you would understand. That gives the perspective of his approach towards ethics is. If you really need to read books on ethics , sumati satakam. baskara satakam, vemana satakam does far better job than any religious texts. Regarding 9 Grahas too you are so invested that it was written in Vedas before science discovered it. And you gave me vague references mentioning of surya and brihaspati, and not all the navagrahas. And you dont have any proof of how old these vedas are. Do even know that mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn can be seen with naked eye. Thats how they are discovered. You are so invested into the concept of vedas are old because that was told to you and not even considering what the linguistic analysis, script, inscriptions etc. say. These are scientific ways of better explanation of the time line of any text. I didnt even touch the caste system in the hindus scriptures. To know the actual reality of effects of caste system read NCRB data on crime against certain castes.
