Farming in india will never get profitable with small scale farmers....You got to go mechanized and it will only be feasible if you do farming in bigger land parcels

farming is profitable if you can do it yourself, problem is lack of farm workers. mana farmers ki unna chinna lands ki automation kastham. mental govts varshalaki varadalu vasthunte karuvu panulu ani chepi free ga meputundi.

India being  union of states doesn't allow produce to be sold outside the state of produce freely. An enterprise can do that, but not a farm. You have to sell in a "market yard" or what North Indians call "Mandi". Jump can be much more, if produce trade barriers are removed.

You wouldn't see Mirchi farmers, onion, Tomato farmers breaking into tears. What India is doing currently is a demand squeeze, by encouraging middlemen in mandis/market yard system.

Say a mirchi farmer can directly sell the produce to a supermarket in Delhi/Bombay/ Banglore from Guntur. All the middlemen cutout from the supply chain.
