Konchem affordable unte konochu EVs India lo because fuel is costly and traffic moves at snail pace, but they are minimum 10l above their CE equivalent that too because gst is less and most of them are new so you don't want to be a beta tester after putting so much money. I think they'll become more wide spread in 5 to 10 years from now.

Mahindra has BYD batteries so the risk is low.

Regarding price, we will get there. Unlike US, we don't need 400 mile range for city travel. Charging infra also getting better.
