Before Sambar Land representatives come and claim that it is not, Mahabharatam talks about jatyahankaram. If there is an answer to your problem, you will find it in Mahabharatam.

Mahabharatam has nothing to do with non-indo-aryans.

The idea of a large-scale "Aryan invasion" of India has been largely debunked by modern scholarship, though the concept of migrations of Indo-Aryan speakers into the Indian subcontinent remains. The original "Aryan Invasion Theory," which posited a violent conquest and displacement of the Indus Valley Civilization by nomadic Aryan tribes, is not supported by archeological and genetic evidence. Instead, scholars now favor a model of gradual Indo-Aryan migrations and cultural exchange, likely beginning around 1500 BCE.

There may be trade. But there is NO indo aryan invasion or migration. Several recent studies showed that folks in northern belt of India and souther part share same haplo group in DNA test. There is no aryan pushing the indigenous Dravidian population to south.  All this aryan and Dravidian is max muller made up .
if someone want to still use it for divide in 21st century, dandam saami
