Venky reviews anta- #Kingdom is an action drama that is technically very strong and works well on the drama front, though it falters somewhat in terms of emotional depth.

Director Gowtham Tinnanuri succeeds in building a properly engaging narrative in the first half. Although the narration feels flat at times, it remains focused and never deviates from the core story. However, the payoffs typically expected in a genre like this through emotional highs and elevations are relatively less and underwhelming apart from the intro and climax, which do land effectively.

The film is backed by excellent technical quality and production values. The visuals are top-notch and Anirudh’s background score works well in key moments. Vijay Deverakonda delivers a superb performance and will remain one of his top ones.

Despite the limited emotional highs that are expected and a somewhat flat narrative style, the film is worth watching for a solid drama, strong technical values, and performances.
