Even in 2000s that was never the case Anna. Our numbers were so low it didn’t matter much. Truth is. We are very docile and easy to manage. We don’t bring trouble at work place. That’s the only reason our diaspora is surviving here in USA-based corps. Our skillset is easily replaceable in a heartbeat.

LOL, 55% of NASA employees are from outside, and no one talks about it. 60% of research scholars are also from outside, and that's not discussed either. This seems like a temporary fix when there's nothing else to do to improve the economy. Inflation is high, and grocery prices are out of control.

Trump voters do not care about innovations. They care more about being outnumbered racially. That’s all they care. I kind of understand their point too. What difference does it make when they lose bargaining chip even if the country is super developed?

Where did you get these numbers from ? What do you mean by outside? "Research scholars" by itself doesn't mean innovation. What's your baseline? Patents? New tech?  Impact factor?
