Rajahmundry Jail seems to be under the strong influence of YSR Congress

As per reports from various newspapers, YCP leaders and their supporters appear to be enjoying full access and control around the jail. Mithun Reddy is reportedly getting not just one, but two Mulaqat sessions per day. Just yesterday, he is said to have met his father Ramachandra Reddy and MLC Talasila Raghuram. Later in the same day, he also met Jakkampudi Raja and his lawyer Hussain.

This is in sharp contrast to how Chandrababu was treated. He had to fight a tough legal battle just to get a single Mulaqat. Even his party members and supporters were not allowed anywhere near the jail premises

But now, it is being reported that YSR Congress leaders have surrounded the entire area. Their party camps and presence are clearly visible around the jail, something that was strictly prohibited during Naidu’s arrest.

Some social media users are now sarcastically commenting that if there’s one thing the NDA government should learn from the previous YCP regime, it’s their ruthless focus on crushing the opposition. However, with a statesman like Chandrababu Naidu at the helm, such extreme political behavior seems very unlikely.
