WITCH Managers Advice plz

Nenu India lo pani cheyaledu, direct masters after engineering. Worked for small ERP Vendor, ma degara ex TCS guy okadu friend ayyaru, however he had a horrible habit of "Perception management" irrespective of business value or self contributions, he got let go for not being able to deliver test scripts on time.

How to handle these WITCH perception managers? India lo andaru inthe na? how to expose their lies or warn about them politically / diplomatically in professional circles?
