Schools have started and parents again rushed to get their kids enrolled into these old Narayana/Sree Chaitanya style coaching centers.

Its better to look for alternatives.

If you are already sending your kids....sit with them and ask them what and how they teach the concepts. Its pure rote learning.....antha batti puranam.

Thanks , will not send

It’s discipline anna. If you don’t do it regularly it will become tough as. Classes increases imo. I send to Q math and best brain.

We send to best brains for math, their material is good. each concept is explored with different strategies to solve and real life examples are given and has word problems to test their grasp on concept. My kid likes it. Kumon I heard is repetitive.

It's a good business idea too if GC holders want to explore.

I sent my kids to Kumon for a while and did not like much. But going back and looking at it now, how someone gets good at Math. Practice Practice. That is what we did back in India. So sending to Kumon is not necessarily bad unless they are swamped with other useful stuff

Practice needs to go hand in hand with aptitude development and critical thinking.

We should still send them but not to a place where they are more concerned with circullum.

You already said that's how we did back in India. Its the worst way to learn anything

Material is average. You can try Singapore math.

Suggest alternatives if there are any
