why would someone who sorted on immigration status would like to work in other fields when being an IT professional offers more money, and flexibility ? 

only some like this uncle who are from WITCH might end up in alternate careers.

Naku telsi around 800k-1 Million people are under H1B visa and H4 EAD around 100-150k

Job Market worst ga undi, I don't blame citizens for blaming h1b folks

I guess around 10-15% of IT Professionals are H1B visa holders

what percentage of that workforce has sorted immigration status ; want to be mediocre and still want to sulk as developer ? well in that case I have no suggestions for them.

my argument simple- when you mentioned about ppl with GC and Citizenship choosing alternative careers; why should they have to pivot when IT offers more money and flexibility.
