andhra_jp Posted September 17 Report Posted September 17 APSRTC told to ply more buses from interior areas to city Rajamahendravaram City MLA Adireddy Srinivas interacting with students about the bus services in Rajamahendravaram City on Tuesday. | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT Rajamahendravaram city MLA Adireddy Srinivas has directed the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Services Corporation (APSRTC) authorities to operate additional buses exclusively for students travelling from interior routes to Rajamahendravaram city. Mr. Srinivas who recently travelled to surrounding areas of Rajamahendravaram city observed the difficulties faced by students from interior areas due to the lack of timely bus services, which prevents them from reaching their colleges in the city on time. Mr. Srinivas said: “The APSRTC authorities have been directed to ply more bus services with revised schedules for the students to enable them attend their colleges on time.” The students allege that many of them miss the bus services due to the implementation of the Stree Shakthi scheme.
