coffee Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 Signatures on the USCIS forms and G-28 need to have original wet signatures and the originals need to be produced if asked. Many employers didn't feel the need to keep the originals after they scanned the documents (scanned copies were kept). Now USCIS is issuing NOIDs left and right asking to produce the originals. Those who destroyed the originals are unable to produce the signatures in exactly the same way as scanned. Those cases are being denied - several hundreds. Quote

Konebhar6 Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 Looks like fake news to me. Electronic proof is enough. No one asks to produce paper evidence. But it would not shock me if it’s real. 1 Quote
Barney_Stinson Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 some cases are still paper based depending on filing date, asking for true copies isn’t strange but denials because a true copy could not be submitted is not the norm for adjudication 1 Quote
SaradaChinnodu Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 Once my attorney told me to save the g28 and other signatures originals ( after ive sent them scanned copies)saying that uscis might ask for them sometimes …sounds like it’s true in some cases… Quote
