Typically no. You would go to the website and look for your ticket info. Once available, respond before the due date(date of appearance as stated on the ticket). For the response, you should see all the options available.

Have to check if that's possible in this state.. Tennessee.

Don't pay it.  Challenge it. It also depends on your driving record. If your driving record is clean, then court ki velthe, police no show aithe elano kottestharu, ledha plea deal istharu. I don't know your state and county but in case you're challenging it, try talking to your defense attorney, and see if you can take a defensive driving course and get the ticket changed to non moving violation.

To do that , you should NOT PLEAD GUILTY. ALWAYS NOT GUILTY pettu taruvatah, options explore cheyyi.
