Asalu caste system was prevalent even when there was no organized religion called Hinduism ..basically its categorization of people who did a specific occupation as per Rig Veda,   mana db half knowledge caste gajji gallaki intha kanna em septam…later hinduism adopted these 4 vedas

1. Rig Veda and its time
