whole water filteration will filter water and it’s installed at main water supply so which means all the water in the house is filtered but for drinking we need to install RO (reverse osmosis) which they usually install under the sink or they can do in the basement if it’s unfinished but usually located under the sink area depending on the house. Some people do not install RO so it’s upto individuals.
