The new policy of US towards India is , be a vassal state to them. If India does not like it, they does not care if India wants to be a vassal state to China. 
2 months back, I was thinking Congress  will never be in power again, but now it’s a possibility. Not because of US will meddle in elections. Just because of Trade and Tariffs. India has  100 billion dollar trade deficit with China. What else we can get from them? They will rape Indian economy.
 

Now Indians can not immigrate to another country also. The entire west is moving against immigration en masse.

Exactly my point...and I am happy at least Modi is not in delusional mode and really wants to keep 1.4 Billion Indians feeding square meals a day.

But BJPs whole narrative was anti-Nehru and anti-Gandhi rhetoric kadha...Modi until last week was blaming Nehru for giving away Indian land to China and retracting from PoK without seizing it completely.

We cannot judge the politics of 1960s from todays lens.

1. India was offered UNSC memebership and nehru gave it away

2. Article 370 created problems for India

You are talking these when India has become worlds fourth largest economy even though per capita GDP is not even worlds Top 100.

India was left poorest nation in 1947. Nothing was in favour of India.

What good does UNSC perm seat can do to India? Nothing. Russia, UK and France did not gain anything being on UNSC. Can you tell me one advantage of being UNSC member?

USA has been the defacto leader of the world since 1945.

What problems did Article 370 create? Its just BJPs propaganda. Under any case India was compelled to spend billions on Kashmir security.

 Nehru thought investment on Army was not priority because 90% of Indians were struggling to put food on their plates.
