Are you serious? Kolkata stipped with IBM buddy and that is it. If it is part of the flow and not because of the state leadership, why do you think it stopped with IBM? Noida was way ahead of the rest if the country, thanks to the attention ot got from the Congress leadership. Even Pune, thanks to the state leadership, they started early with the Rajiv Gandhi IT park. You may deny it and call it what you want, the competition was stiff.

Kolkata had TCS as the leader, not iBM. Kolkata had IBM, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant etc. Not just IBM. Here you go. Some data to back my statements.
