This is not path breaking. MSFT could have gone to Bangalore or Delhi NCR. They do not have any funding issues.

CBN went too far and provided unrealistic subsidies to the companies if they relocate to Hyd. 

MSFT is not mass employment provider. Moreover they do not recruit local people of Hyd or AP. They still recruit globally.

The mass employment companies are Infy, TCS, Wipro which were free to do business anywhere in India..its still the case.

Yes Indian politics were going through turbulent times. No stable Govt but still managed to attract very big MNCs like Swiss Watches, American brands, European brands .... the list is too big to list here.

And coming to your question, 1991-1999 most of the IT work was related to Mainframes and Y2K issue. Most of the projects of Satyam, TCS, Infy were related to Y2K issue.

The tech companies came very late...first to Bangalore and then to every other city.

I quoted those two cities to make the point that just having stpi alone didn't help. The cities must have a robust infrastructure to support.

At the end of the day, development matters, thats fine. But if everything good thats happened to Hyd during CBNs time is to be solely attributed to CBNs leadership, then he must take the responsibility of every bad happened as well during his time. So much poverty among rural masses and so many caste issues during his time.

 

Also he was not just an MLA or MP, he was the CM, the premier position of the entire state. He got all the powers, so that helps anyone to take quick decisions, try something new etc..... he did not do a charity. Hundreds of crores ( in todays terms) will be spent on CMs security per year. Who pays the bill???

Emo bhayya, Companies evi raledantaaru, examples chepthe, mass employer kadantaru. Unna companies Bangalore tharvathane vachai antaaru, asala vachai kada ante part of the flow antaaru.
